plantcounselorSince Vash has a couple of abilities and aspects that might effect things ooc, if you have any problems with these, just let me know and I'll do my best to avoid them when I can!
Telepathy: Vash is actually telepathic, though he doesn't make a habit of trying to get into the heads of people around him. He allows people to have their privacy most of the time, and at the age he's at he may not even realize he can do it just yet. But the ability is still there, so if you would be uncomfortable with that manifesting, just let me know. If you're open to it, the fastest way to make him respond would be to have the character reach out first, since he's very receptive to telepathic contact being directed at him - Plants only communicate telepathically, so he's actually very used to hearing them "talking" on a regular basis, even if talking isn't quite an accurate way to describe how they communicate.
At the same time, this also does tend to make him very perceptive when it comes to a person's character. He instinctively knows if someone is nice or not a good guy, though he tends to treat everyone respectfully regardless of that and gives even not nice people the benefit of the doubt. If you want that to be a Thing that he Notices or you want that to be avoided, just let me know. If I'm canon blind, I probably won't really know one way or the other, either way, so for the most part, just expect a bubbly kid chirping at everyone.
Vash's Mental Health: Vash himself is a character who has had severe depression and suicidal and self-harm tendencies from a very young age. If you would prefer that those things be avoided, please let me know. I know they can be really upsetting and shouldn't be handled lightly, so I do my best not to be blase or flippant with it, but unless I know someone prefers to avoid it, it's bound to come up. He's an expert at masking, so I can spend time focusing on how he's making himself appear to others without delving into the darker things going on in his head, if I need to.
Medical Trauma: He hasn't experienced it himself, but a very significant event in his life involved the violent medical abuses suffered by one of his own kind. It's another of those Big Things that is bound to come up somewhere because it influences a great deal of what he does, so if you would prefer that not be brought up as well, Let me know. I'll avoid that topic if need be.
